Histoires de sages et de fous

by Grimm, Tolstoï et les 1001 Nuits

Histoires de sages et de fous brings together in the same program The Fisherman and his Wife by Grimm, The Two Brothers by Tolstoy and The Two Who Dreamed, from 1001 Nights. These three tales from around the world feature ordinary people touched by extraordinary destinies: a magical fish can grant all wishes, an engraved stone promises power and glory, and a dream tells the location of treasure. All the protagonists face existential and philosophical questions, which will resonate with children and adults alike. In their quarrels or in their quest to access wisdom, the characters will sometimes take insane and irrational paths: they will listen to their hearts. Théo Pombet and Jérémie Le Louët continue their fruitful collaboration and offer listeners-spectators an immersive experience, an invitation to imagination and thought.
