Isabelle Granier
After earning a DEUG in Modern Literature at Lyon 3 and a DNSEP in Textile Design at the Decorative Arts School of Strasbourg, she began her career in Paris as a costume assistant and upholsterer for cinema, and a costume designer for theatre and animated films.
In 2003, she moved to Montreal. She joined the workshops of Julio Mejia and Mireille Vachon, where she worked on projects such as Scorsese’s Aviator, before joining the costume and hat-making departments at Cirque du Soleil.
Since 2007, she has lived in Crest, in the Drôme region, where she collaborates as a costume designer on various projects, including Cristal Palace, Mù, and Les Poupées géantes with the Transe Express company, the Romans Carnival from 2009 to 2016, Le passage du Nord-Ouest with Groupe ToNNe, Zone à étendre with the collective Demain est Annulé, Habiter les rives de la Commune Mesure, Enfant, 1ère comparution, and Faune with the company NUE.
A costume designer and dresser at the Comédie de Valence since 2014 and at the Fêtes Nocturnes de Grignan since 2011, she has worked on numerous productions, including Lucrece Borgia directed by David Bobee, Quand le diable s’en mêle directed by Didier Besace, and Orpheo by Samuel Achache and Jeanne Candel.
She first met the Dramaticules in Grignan in 2016, during the creation of their Don Quixote at the Château for the 30th edition of the Festival Les Fêtes Nocturnes. There, she crafted the dragon.
